Privacy Policy

The short version

No accounts, no tracking, no ads, no selling data. Your plant photos are kept so your diagnosis history stays useful over time, and you decide when they are deleted. We never delete them on you, and we never hand them to anyone for marketing.

1. What we collect

• Photos of plants you choose to diagnose: uploaded over an encrypted connection, stored so you can look back at how a plant was doing weeks ago, and deleted whenever you ask. Photos are stored under a name derived from the image itself, so a stored file identifies a photo, never a person.

• An anonymous device identifier: a random ID created on your device, used only to keep track of your diagnosis credits and your own history. It is not linked to your name, email, phone number, or any other identity.

• Purchase records: payments are processed entirely by Apple. We receive only an anonymous confirmation that a purchase happened so we can grant your credits. We never see your payment details.

2. Who else sees your photos

To produce a diagnosis, the photo is sent to Google's Gemini API, which analyses the image and returns the result to us. Google processes it to provide that service. We are on a paid API tier, under which Google does not use the content to train its models.

No other third party receives your photos. No human at Yiriba LLC reviews them as a matter of course.

3. What we don’t do

• No user accounts, emails, or phone numbers collected.

• No advertising, no analytics trackers, no data brokers.

• No selling, renting, or sharing of your data with third parties for marketing.

• No subscriptions, no trials that quietly renew, no auto-renew.

4. Deleting your data

Deleting a photo in the app removes it and its thumbnail from our storage immediately, along with the diagnosis attached to it. There is no waiting period and no recovery step: once you delete it, it is gone.

Deleting the app from your device ends the relationship, but does not by itself remove photos already uploaded. If you want everything erased, delete your photos in the app first, or email us at support@yiriba.com and we will remove everything tied to your device identifier.

5. Children

PlantRx is not directed at children and collects no information that identifies anyone, of any age.
