What PlantRx is

PlantRx looks at a photograph of a plant and gives you a ranked list of what is most likely wrong with it, the visual evidence behind each possibility, and a general treatment plan. It is a well-informed opinion from an automated system, not a certainty.

What PlantRx is not

• We never tell you whether a plant is safe to eat, touch, or forage. Not for you, not for anyone. We will not answer that question at all, in any form, and you must not use PlantRx to decide it.

• We never tell you a plant is safe for a child or a pet. If a child or animal may have eaten any part of a plant, contact Poison Control (US 1-800-222-1222) or a veterinarian immediately. Do not wait for an app.

• We are not a substitute for a professional. For a valuable, rare, or commercially significant plant, consult a horticulturist or your local extension service.

Treatment guidance and product labels

Any treatment advice we give is general and category-level. We do not give you product names, mixing ratios, dilution rates, or application intervals. In the United States a pesticide label is federal law: whatever the label on the product in your hand says overrides anything you read here, and following it is your responsibility.

Accuracy

Plant problems look alike, and photographs lose information. We show a ranked differential rather than a single verdict for exactly that reason, and when we are not confident enough to stand behind an answer we say so and do not charge you for it. Even so, we can be wrong. Use judgement before doing anything drastic to a plant you care about.

Payment

Your first diagnosis is free, in full. After that a pack of 5 diagnoses is $4.99, or unlimited diagnoses forever is $34.99, paid once.

There is no subscription and nothing auto-renews. Credits never expire. Plant identification and care reminders are free and unlimited, permanently, and are not metered against your credits.

Purchases are handled by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple under their standard process.

Your content

Your photos remain yours. You give us permission to store them and to send them for analysis solely so we can give you a diagnosis and keep your history available. Nothing more.

Liability

PlantRx is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yiriba LLC is not liable for loss or damage to plants, property, or anything else arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
